Are females turning the tide on work?

In a recent article by Kate Kerrigan of the Times, she eloquently states how women’s role in work and family life may be making a shift back to its roots, though without the down trodden stigma of not being allowed to work.
My view is that this shift in focus will also help women create not just the balance of social and emotional behaviour in family lives, but also turn the focus back to good food and health that have traditionally been the focus of the female role. Though I don’t see any issue with men taking on this role if the women does want to pursue a high flying career.
