MRT (Mediator Release Test) Food Sensitivity Program
- Excess body fat
- Digestive issues
- Muscle and joint pain
- Skin problems
All of these problems can be caused by the foods you eat. In fact, food sensitivities are tied to celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease, migrains, fibromyalgia, arthritis, autism, attention deficit disorder, chronic fatigue, insomnia, chronic sinusitis, asthma, obesity, lactose intolerance, eczema, and more!
What is a Food Sensitivity?
A food sensitivity is the tendency for the body to react unfavorably to a particular food. This reaction leads to inflammation and tissue damage that causes many of the problems listed above. Food sensitivities can be very difficult to identify because these reactions can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 72 hours to manifest. That means you could be reacting today to something you ate 2 or 3 days ago!
Although some food sensitivity reactions can be dramatic, such as a migraine, many times they’re more moderate. This makes it easier for them to go unnoticed, and because of this, it’s easy to eat a food that you react to day after day without realizing it. Over time, the moderate reactions accumulate and result in significant damage, possibly even leading to disease.
Food Sensitivities and Food Allergies are Different
Food allergies and food sensitivities are two entirely different things. Although they are both reactions to food, that’s where the similarities end. Unlike food sensitivities, food allergies are typically very easy to identify because the reactions are often immediate and dramatic. In some cases, they can even cause death!
Furthermore, food allergies are very rare. Only about 1% – 2% of the population suffers from them.
Why This Program is Unique
Many people assume they can simply go to their doctor to be evaluated for food sensitivities, but this is usually not the case. Most doctor’s offices will run an allergy test or an antibody test. Based on the difference between food allergies and food sensitivities, an allergy test is unlikely to help identify the cause of chronic symptoms. It is looking for those immediate reactions.
The antibody test, which is usually called the ELISA IgG test, is not much help either. Although it does detect food sensitivity, it has two significant shortcomings. First, the existence of an antibody for a particular food does not automatically mean the food will invoke a reaction. In some cases, the antibodies actually prevent a reaction! In other words, false positives are common with this test. Second, not all food sensitivity reactions involve antibodies. As a result, food sensitivities can easily go undetected with this test.
What makes the MRT Food Sensitivity Program truly unique is that it’s based on a much more accurate test called the Mediator Release Test. It incorporates a patented, cutting edge methodology that is exclusively offered by only a small number of labs across the world.
What sets the MRT apart from other food sensitivity testing methods is that it doesn’t focus on specific types reactions. Instead, it focuses on the end result of a food sensitivity reaction by detecting the resulting release of the chemical mediators that cause inflammation and tissue damage. As such, the MRT is able to identify a wider variety of food sensitivity reactions and does so in a much more reliable manner.
Our Experience With Food Sensitivities
Someone with excellent health should have only a few food sensitivities that are genetic. You may be aware that many people live much of their lives in poor health without even knowing it. When some people take this test they may have multiple food sensitivities, as many as 50 or 60!
Many of the health problems that are experienced can be attributed on several levels to food sensitivities include headaches, knee pain, leg pain, skin issues (dermatitis), fatigue, gas, bloating, itchy skin, and puffy eyes. When avoiding the foods that you are sensitive to, you may either eliminate or greatly reduced all of these symptoms.
Food Sensitivities Can Destroy Your Health!
Most people become interested in food sensitivities because of a particular nagging symptom they have. However, there’s a much more important reason to be concerned. As I already pointed out, food sensitivities cause inflammation and tissue damage, particularly in the intestines. Most people are eating foods they’re sensitive to on a daily basis and are creating a chronic state of inflammation and tissue damage.
Once the intestines are damaged by this chronic burden, digestion is impaired, undigested food particles begin to enter the blood stream, and problems start arising throughout the rest of the body. This is when serious health issues can begin to manifest. Because of the constant activation of the immune system, this is also a common way for autoimmune disease to develop.
How the Food Sensitivity Program Works
Step 1: After purchasing the Food Sensitivity Program, a food sensitivity test kit will be mailed to you and an email will be sent to you containing further instructions.
Step 2: The MRT is a blood test and will require you to have blood drawn. Within approximately two weeks of the lab receiving your blood, I will email your results to you along with documentation to help you understand and implement the program.
Step 3: I will be available through email to answer all of your questions and help you implement the program. Depending on which program option you choose, I will provide you with full email support for either one or six months.
